Whether it’s a few hours a month or a few hours a year, your time and talents can help lift others up and move our mission forward. If you're interested in becoming a firefighter or contributing behind the scenes, we'd love to have you join us.
Our volunteer firefighters respond to structure fires, wildland fires, vehicle accidents, and rescue calls across Quillayute Prairie and the surrounding areas. No prior experience is required — we provide all the training you need.
Benefits include: free first aid, CPR, and firefighter training; retirement and health insurance programs; meeting your community; and more.
Not everyone fights fires, and that's more than okay. We also rely on volunteers for equipment maintenance, administrative support, fundraising, community outreach, and more. Every role matters.
Who Can Volunteer? If you live in or near the Quillayute Prairie area and want to give back to your community, you're exactly who we're looking for. All backgrounds and experience levels are welcome.
